Heatrae Sadia continues to invest in new products
Continuing the pace of its investment in new-product development, Heatrae Sadia has introduced a larger-capacity Megaflo product for commercial water heating and a single-unit solution for delivering boiling water for hot drinks and snacks, as well as ambient and chilled water.
Megaflo Commercial has a lead time of just two weeks from order and comes in 24 variants, some of which are compatible with renewable technologies. Capacities range from 400 to 2500 l, and eight versions across the full range of sizes are suitable for use with solar-thermal or heat-pump technologies. To increase storage capacity, any of the cylinders can be installed in parallel in any combination.
These cylinders can deliver hot water at up to 90 l/min and heat up to 2500 l in less than an hour. 100 mm of the latest PU insulation minimises heat loss.
Megaflo Commercial cylinders are made from marine-grade stainless steel and do not need a sacrificial anode. They also typically weigh a third less than cylinders made from other materials.
The other product is the Aquatap boiling and chilled-water unit, described as an ideal drinks solution for the workplace.
Aquatap is installed underneath the worktop and permanently connected to the mains water supply to provide a constant supply of boiling water from hot drinks and snacks. It can also provide plentiful supplies of chilled water.
Aquatap has a capacity of 5 l, enough for up to 30 consecutive cups (167 ml) of boiling water. An LED shows then the water is hot.
