Elta’s Tesco hat trick

Elta Fans
Tesco’s new Extra store at Bedworth is one of three for the company for which Elta has recently supplied fans.

Elta Fans has supplied equipment for a further three new Tesco stores at Dudley, Crewe and Bedworth. The largest is the new Tesco Extra store at Dudley, which at over 9000 m2 is more than double the size of the store it replaces. The new store at Bedworth has an area of 6000 m2.

For the Dudley Extra store, Neville Tucker Heating installed two SLC long-cased axial fans, two LC non-select axial fans, four SCP compact plate fans, one SJ Jetflow and one SB CON Biflow fan. They were supplied by Lindab Lincoln.

The Bedworth store was fitted with four SQS Quietflow single fans, two SCH Heritage roof fans and two LC non-select long-cased axial fans. A follow-up order added five SSF Skyflow roof fans and three SMF Miniflow fans. They were installed by George Birchall, which has worked for Tesco for over 20 years and also installed services for the new Crewe store.

The fans for the Crewe store comprise SQS Quietflow single fans, SCH Heritage and SLC long-cased axial fans.
