Vortice supplies heat-recovery units for Shankhill Road project

Vortice, heat recovery ventilation, energy recovery
Over 70 Vortice HR200 heat-recovery ventilation units have been chosen for two developments in Belfast.

Vortice has supplied its compact heat-recovery units to a new development on the Shankhill Road in Belfast and will also be supplying a heat-recovery system for a new care home on Northumberland Road in Belfast for the same customer, Crystal Air. Eddie Finn of Crystal Air said, ‘We chose the HR200 because of its compact size combined with excellent all-round performance. The first phase of the development on the Shankhill Road is for 35 units and the second for 36 units.’

These units offer up to 93% heat recovery and are SAP Appendix Q eligible in all configurations from kitchen plus one room to kitchen plus four additional wet rooms. They are small enough to fit into a cupboard space in the kitchen, so they are ideal for apartments and smaller housing units.

The Vortice range of heat-recovery system also includes the Prometeo Plus with the capability of updating software via a USB connector and NRG products for commercial application.
