Powrmatic launches advanced high-efficiency cabinet heaters

Space heating, Powrmatic, warm air heater

Powrmatic’s CPx range of cabinet heaters combines a advanced design of combustion chamber with a 3-pass heat exchanger to achieve efficiencies of around 92% while retaining the popular features of the established CP family of heaters. Outputs range from 30 to 300 kW for free-blowing or ducted applications.

CPx heaters can be used with natural gas, propane, oil or liquid biofuel. There is a choice of on/off, high/low or modulating burners. These heaters are available in upright or horizontal configuration for installing in the space to be heated, in plant rooms or specified for external applications.

Free-blowing models have heads that provide adjustable rotational and lateral jet direction. All units can operate in fan-only mode for summer cooling.

Heaters are supplied ready for automatic operation, complete with safety and comfort control — including optimised start/stop, digital time switch, day thermostat and frost-protection thermostat. They can also be used with remote temperature sensors.

Upright heaters have controls fitted at the factory. Horizontal and external units are supplied with a remote console.
