Buderus changes name

The Buderus name for commercial and industrial heating is disappearing from the UK as Buderus, Bosch Group becomes Bosch Commercial & Industrial Heating. The moves marks the company looking to further strengthen its industrial product and service offering in the UK heating and hot-water sector.

Buderus has operated in the UK since its acquisition by Bosch Thermotechnolgy in 2005. The new company will continue to offer boilers with outputs from 65 kW to 19.2 MW. Customers will be able to obtain boilers to match existing products thanks to the manufacturer’s pledge to provide custom colours on request.

Business development director Geoff Hobbs, says, ‘Further expansion to the product portfolio is already planned for the future. As with any new product introductions, we are keen to ensure these products are made available once each is deemed right for the UK market.’
