Trench system delivers heating, cooling and ventilation

Jage, space heating, trench heating

Heating cooling and ventilation are provided from a single trench system using Jaga’s Quatro Canal system. Designed for a 4-pipe set-up , this contemporary-looking and discreet system is just 270 mm wide to minimise visual impact on a building’s design and layout. It is equally suitable for use with a traditional boiler of low-temperature renewable heating systems.

Each unit includes a dynamic 4-pipe heat exchanger and up to four tangential thermic activators that can be controlled by a BMS or room thermostat to provide a smooth transition between heating and cooling.

There are four sizes from 800 to 1800 mm. The largest unit delivers over 3.5 kW of heat at 75/55°C flow/return to achieve a room temperature of 20°C or 1088 W of cooling at 7/12°C flow/return to achieve a room temperature of 25°C, non-condensing. However, there is an integral condensate tray.

These units are 130 mm deep and have noise levels of 30 dB(A). Telescopic feet enable the height to be adjusted to align with raised floors.

A range of grille finishes is available — wood, natural aluminium and lacquer-coated aluminium.
