Flexible ductwork

BSRIA flexible ductwork, air conditioning, ventilation

BSRIA has developed a guide to the flexible ductwork that is commonly used to make final connections in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The guide focuses on metallic and non-metallic flexible ductwork, both insulated and uninsulated. It aims to help improve the performance of buildings by providing guidance about legislation, product standards, specifications, installation practices and maintenance requirements.

The development of this guide includes a review of Approved Documents of the Building Regulations, British and European Standards, industry guidance literature from CIBSE and BSRIA, manufacturers’ technical guidance and a wide range of specifications for construction projects.
