Seeking the best in building controls

Building Controls Industry Association, BCIA, awards

The Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) Awards for 2014 are now open for entries. The awards were established to recognise and reward excellence in the building-controls industry. The awards programme provides the opportunity to showcase leading companies and individuals and bring together the entire industry in a celebration of excellence.

There are eight categories for the awards, including systems installer of the year, technical innovation of the year, and engineer of the Year.

BCIA President Steve Harrison says, ‘The BCIA Awards are judged by an independent panel drawn from the building services sector. This gives them significance for our industry.’

Sponsors for this year's awards are Centraline by Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Modern Building Services, Priva Building Intelligence, Schneider Electric, Siemens Building Technologies, Trend Controls, Western Automation.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 8 May 2014 at the Chesford Grange Hotel in the Midlands, near to Leamington Spa and Warwick. The 2013 event saw over 300 guests celebrating the best in the building-controls industry.
