Gripple combines power and suspension wire

Grioole, suspension system, cable, electricity

Gripple has combined the functions of suspension wire and power cable into a single unit for suspending lighting, signage and other powered loads. Combi-Cable is designed to eliminate unsightly cable ties and is said to be particularly relevant for highly visible lighting services.

Combi-Cable is available as a 3-core version and with six cores for DALI controls. The cable and 1.5 mm-diameter galvanised steel suspension wire are installed parallel to lay straight within an outer protective LSF sheath. The assembly hangs straight for loads up to 15 kg.

Compatible with existing electrical and mechanical fixings, Combi-Cable is flexible and, as the circular profile is maintained, is safe even when the suspension wire is removed, and allows the cable to be sealed with a standard grommet.

The Combi-Cable can be combined with Gripple’s Squeezelock suspension solution with a sleek, streamlined bright-plated finished ‘barrel’, which is perfect for the low-hanging luminaires appearing in today’s high-tech minimalist buildings.
