Stokvis offers heat-interface units

Stokvis Energy Systems has responded to the growing popularity of communal- and district-heating systems with the introduction of the H-Series Econoplate interface units. There is a choice of single and twin plate units to provide heating and hot-water services within dwellings such as apartments, student flats and sheltered-housing schemes.

These heat exchangers can provide the interface between a central plantroom with a variety of heat-generation plant. Units can fit into a kitchen or utility cupboard and incorporate all necessary valves, controller and energy metering.

Twin-plate units provide heating and hot water within the dwelling via two plate heat exchangers.

Single-plate units provide DHW via a plate heat exchanger. Heating is direct, with the district water circulating in the dwelling.

Underfloor heating can be provided by Teleheat models, which operate down to 45°C.

The pump runs for 5 s a day if it has not otherwise been used. There is also pump over-run after hot-water provision to prevent calcification.
