Priva controllers are M-Bus compliant

Priva
Priva’s Compri HX range of controllers can now communicate directly with M-Bus compliant meters.
Priva’s Compri HX range of controllers is now M-Bus (Meter-Bus) compliant. This universal protocol has been developed to read consumption meters remotely. This new feature can help building managers meet the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive by making more data available to controllers at meter level, so that users are better informed. As a result of the success of M-Bus, many meter manufacturers incorporate the protocol as standard. A product-specific Priva connection is not required as the Compri HX can communicate with every M-Bus meter via the universal M-Bus connection. Using the Priva TC M-Bus reader, any M-Bus meter can be viewed during the engineering stage, and variables saved to file. Likewise, energy use can be viewed in text or graphic form and accessed by approved employees via Intranet or Internet using Priva’s web application TC WebVision.
