High-efficiency circulating pump

The energy consumption of Wilo’s Stratos Eco pump for domestic applications is said to be up to 80% less than standard heating circulators.

Wilo has launched a high-efficiency pump for domestic applications. Energy consumption is up to 80% less than conventional pumps, and they have been awarded a Class A energy label. They use electronically commutated motors. The Stratos Eco replaces the ProfiStar model. For circulating hot water, the Stratos Eco Z replaces the Star-ZE. Both these new pumps can be specified and used just like their electronic predecessors. The starting torque is said to be three times higher than any previous small heating pump. There is also a new filter upstream of the cartridge and anti-blocking software, so that pumps start and run reliably. These pumps have an insulating shell as standard. Other standard features include an automatic temperature-reduction program (Autopilot) and the adjustment of the set point with the aid of a red button.
