New boilers mean John Lewis is never knowingly over-heated

Remeha Commercial, boiler, space heating

John Lewis’s Kingston store has updated its heating system by replacing two atmospheric boilers with two Remeha section boilers with Baltur fully modulating gas burners producing a total output of 3 MW. The burners were supplied by EOGB.

Not only will this 33 000 m2 store benefit from significant energy-efficiency gains and reductions in CO2 emissions, but NOx emissions will also be reduced.

Martin Cook, technical manager with EOGB, explains, ‘The burner-boiler match in this heating system is extremely effective and enables the burners to operate at a 4:1 turndown ratio, which significantly improves efficiency when compared to the old installation.

‘The Baltur TGB range of fully modulating burners is well established and provides optimum combustion and performance, which means that heating can be controlled in a more efficient manner.’
