Grundfos reports on sustainability efforts
Grundfos’s latest sustainability report includes the statistic that the sales of its energy-efficient circulators in the EU alone from 2005 to 2014 have saved the equivalent of the energy produced by a 500 MW power station each year.
The report also covers the company’s own operations. It shows that energy consumption was reduced by 3% in 2014 compared to the previous year. The overall water footprint was reduced by 6% compared to the previous year.
The latest report goes beyond environmental impact to cover other focus areas such as Grundfos’s human-rights policy.
