Founded in 1987 by Andy Bowshell, Total Control is one of the most respected independent systems installers in the UK having built its reputation by earning trust and confidence with their wide base of clients.
Total Control take a ‘total approach’ to building owners, consultants and contractors by delivering a complete building-management service of projects, maintenance and energy solutions.
This total approach to building-management systems (BMS) is firmly based on Andy Bowshell’s maxim that ‘a job worth doing is worth doing well’.
This approach is reflected in the company’s ethos of, wherever possible, taking direct control of each element of the products, systems and service it provides to clients.
Total Control builds its own panels and as a NIC/EIC approved contractor can undertake a comprehensive range of electrical installations.
Teamwork in Total Control is exactly what it says — teams of multi-disciplinary engineers working together on specific projects providing application engineering, programming and commissioning.
A team structure gives engineers greater satisfaction by being responsible for the whole programme whilst providing one point of contact for clients who often ask for the same team on future projects.

Becoming a CentraLine Partner with access to the Niagara-based Hawk Controller is a natural choice for Total Control and extends the company’s integration expertise into key open protocols — typically LON, Modbus, DALI and M-Bus.
