Grundfos Pumps

The Water Dance Fountain that was the central feature of the athletes’ village at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro is the most visible of the wide range of Grundfos Pumps used to service the games. The Water Dance Fountain has 134 SP submersible pumps operating in unison to produce this spectacle.

Elsewhere a host of pumps helped deliver cooling and hot water, as well as ensuring that sufficient water reached wherever it was needed. The pumps also supported the sewage and drainage demands, provided the irrigation and supported the fire-fighting sets.
