Aspen Pumps, which specialises in condensate-removal pumps and accessories for air-conditioning systems, has introduced a range of chemicals for cleaning and maintaining HVACR equipment. Following extensive R&D, the Storm Chemicals range has been designed to offer effective and powerful deep cleaning for HVACR equipment to promote a healthy indoor environment and improve energy efficiency.

The formulation of Storm products is described as ‘taking cleaning to the next level, offering a deeper, long-lasting and safer clean which results in fewer call backs and saves money’.

These products are based on Green XL, a probiotic cleaner developed specifically for use in the HVACR sector. This technology uses ‘good’ bacteria to remove dirt and clean beyond the microscopic layer (biofilm), ensuring equipment remains clean between service intervals.

Green XL is 100% biodegradable, so engineers do not need to worry about COSHH restrictions for transport, use and storage — since it is harmless to people, animals and environmentally friendly.

The ‘good’ bacteria help provide a healthier indoor environment with improved indoor air quality as they remove ‘bad’ bacteria and are not harmful to health if inhaled.

The technology of the Storm Chemicals range achieves microscopic cleaning deep into the surface, beyond the biofilm, resulting in a longer-lasting clean and an improved indoor environment.

The Storm range comprises evaporator cleaner and disinfectant, condenser cleaner, universal coil cleaner, odour neutraliser, coil coat, leak detector, condenser cleaner and degreaser, case cleaner, ice-machine cleaner, drain unblock and portable-air-conditioning cleaner.
