Pulsed metering for hot and cold water

Coster
Water metering for a wide range of applications — Coster’s K Series of pulsed water meters.
To meet a growing demand for the accurate of hot and cold water use in multiple-tenancy buildings such as shared offices and private apartment blocks, Coster Environmental Controls has launched a range of pulsed water-metering equipment. They are designed around a modular concept, making it possible to devise cost-effective solutions for requirements from domestic applications to major commercial projects. K Series pulsed meters are designed for pipe sizes from 1/2 in up to 8 in diameter. There are units for measuring water flow in DHW, heating and chilled-water systems. Reed switches are used for the pulsed output. Pulses can be set at 10, 100 or 1000 litres per pulse. DHW systems are set at 10 litres per pulse These meters can be linked to Coster UAC 668 modules, which have 16 inputs to record pulses from any source. Mains and battery-power versions are offered. The battery offers a field service life of five to seven years.
