Shower packaged incorporates waste pump

By integrating an electric shower and waste pump, this shower package from Mira can be installed virtually anywhere.
Electric shower manufacturer Mira has teamed up with pump specialist Whale to develop a shower and waste-pump package that enables a shower to be installed virtually anywhere remote from a gravity drain. The Advance Extra has a dedicated electrical connection to start the Whale pump when the shower valve is opened. Electrical connections comprise a low-voltage control wire to the shower and a mains supply to the pump’s transformer. The package is based on the Advance ATL range of showers, which have the BEAB CareMark and are designed for use in care situations. These showers are thermostatically controlled with settings from 37 to 48°C, including 41°C for healthcare applications.
