North-west contractors combine expertise to offer clients a single point of contact

Kimpton Building Services in The Wirral in north west England has teamed up to with a building contractor and an electrical contractor to pool the expertise of each company and offer clients a single point of contact across the three trades. The consortium is called TKR, and its single point of contact eliminates the involvement and costs of using sub-contracted operatives. The other members of the consortium are building contractor The Trustland Group and electrical contractor The Rosebery Group. Trustland has 35 years’ experience, and Kimpton has been providing building services for over 44 years. The Rosebery Group is one of the largest independent electrical engineering contractors in the north west. Tom Topping, director of the consortium, say, ‘The TKR Partnership spans every aspect of the construction process, offering a diverse range of services from a small electrical component to a multi-million data centre. We act as a one-stop shop for a wealth of expert services and provide an innovative solution to securing a contractor with the experience, flexibility, accountability and cost-effectiveness to deliver a project on time, in budget and to specification.’ TKR is a specialist in the design and build of complex data-centre facilities and has undertaken numerous such projects for leading organisatons.
