Improved evacuation speed with ExitPoint

kac
KAC has introduced ExitPoint directional sound technology which, when triggered to a fire system, attracts people towards its source in both good and poor visibility. The units emit pulses of low, medium and high broadband noise which make it possible for people to accurately identify the source location. In tests, these directional sound units reduced evacuation times by up to 75% by aurally directing people to the nearest emergency exit. ExitPoint operates at 24 V DC, and has five user-selectable power settings so it can be optimised to its installed environment. It is also available with an optional voice messaging system to reinforce the meaning of the tones and improve unit effectiveness.
