Contributing to a high-quality environment in two new office buildings near Poole are Daikin Roundflow air-conditioning cassettes.
Daikin’s recently introduced Roundflow air-conditioning cassette is helping to deliver a quality environment in a new commercial development near Poole by providing 360° radial air distribution that ensures against local draughts and provides more uniform air distribution than other cassettes. 47 FCQ Roundflow ceiling cassettes have been installed throughout the project. Coy Ponds Business Park at present comprises two self-contained buildings offering suites of 93 to 260 m2. There are 12 individual open-plan offices with high-grade accommodation. One building has seven office areas over three floors. The other has a single open-plan area on each of five floors. Each floor in each building is separately air conditioned by Daikin Sky Air RZQ Super Inverter heat-pump systems designed and installed by Cold Services of Ringwood. All outdoor condensing units are located at roof level. Energy-efficiency ratios are from 2.8 to 3.7 in cooling, and heating COPs are from 3.21 to 3.61. Fresh air for the fan-coil units is provided by Daikin VAM heat-recovery ventilation units, which modulate the temperature and humidity of the incoming fresh air and match it to prevailing indoor conditions All the ventilation units and air-conditioning systems are monitored and controlled by remote wall-mounted room-temperature controllers.
