Ecociat uses natural ventilation to generate domestic hot water

Ciat Ozonair’s first heat-recovery unit, the Ecociat, can reduce domestic hot-water bills by up to 70%. These units capture and recycle heat contained in air extracted by natural-ventilation systems to heat domestic hot water. Ecociat heat-pump units are designed for use with conventional boilers and other systems running on fossil fuels and are simple to install without changes to existing circuits. A year-round COP of 3.5 is achieved. They can handle 3000 to 5500 m3/h of air.
