Daikin launches non-inverter R410A units

Daikin
Non-inverter split air-conditioners from Daikin offer cooling capacities from 7.1 to 12.5 kW.
A non-inverter series of R410A Sky Air heat-pump and cooling-only split air-conditioning systems has been introduced by Daikin Europe. The RR/RQ series is available in three models with cooling capacities from 7.1 to 12.5 kW and heating from 8 to 14.5 kW. Outdoor units can be combined with the entire range of R410A Sky Air inverter indoor units. EER is up to 2.84, with COPs up to 3.24. Noise levels are down to 50 dB(A). Features include anti-corrosion treatment of the heat-exchange fins to prolong life 6-fold compared with untreated aluminium. Intelligent defrost control obviates the loss of capacity associated with constant-interval defrost cycles. Installation benefits include the location of service valves within the casing, just three connecting wires and a 70 m pipe run (90 m equivalent length) between outdoor and indoor units. www.daikin.org.uk
