Building Services Design has been recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the best small companies to work for in its Top 100 Best Small Companies report.

In its first year of entry, this M&E consultancy ranked 32nd in the newspaper’s sixth annual survey of firms with under 250 employees.

The company was particularly praised for looking after its staff and for helping to reduce carbon emissions by clever construction.

Founded in 1991, BSD has grown to become one of the UK’s top-50 M&E consultancies. It employs over 70 people in five offices in Cambridge, London, Manchester, Birmingham and Corby.

Managing director David White says, ‘It’s a real honour for us to feature in the prestigious Sunday time awards. Recognising that people are at the heart of our business provides the context for all of our efforts to make BSD a great place to work. We attract vibrant, ambitious people with a passion for the work we do and a real desire to make a difference. The only way to attract and retain such sought-after individuals is by creating an environment that is welcoming and supportive.’
