New-generation boilers cater for older generation

Two Remeha Quinta 85 boilers in cascade have replaced aging heating boilers in the Brierley Day Centre, Little Hutton in the Salford area. The centre was purpose built in the late 1970s and is visited by about 80 senior citizens a day.

These condensing boilers were mounted in cascade and are only 500 mm wide. Their installation was simplified by the combined flue-gas outlet and combustion-air inlet being mounted on the top of the boiler.
