Doubling up as a training tool for South West Peninsular Training is this Scorpion standby generator.

Not only does a Scorpion generator provide standby power for the new premises of South West Peninsular Training, but it is also being used to train gas fitters and electricians. This gas-powered generator is located in a purpose-built room and includes a weatherproof and acoustic canopy and a remote start system.

Powered by a PSI GM industrial engine, Scorpion’s NG30 3-phase generator is quieter and cleaner than a diesel generator. This generator has a number of special features to ensure it is always ready for use and meets all current regulations. They include an on-set battery charger and jacket heater to aid cold starting. They are available with engines from 15 to 132 kVA.
