Stimulating the imagination of architects — John Kellett.

Mitsubishi Electric is sponsoring the Daily Mail British Homes Awards for the second year running to inspire investment in a low-carbon future by seeing how innovative, exciting and energy-efficient the homes of tomorrow can really be.

John Kellett of the company’s heating-systems department, says, ‘We were very impressed with the imagination shown in last year’s competition, and this year’s shortlist looks equally impressive.

‘This year’s competition challenges UK architects to rethink homes and design them for our aging population whilst helping to create communities that demonstrate attention to environment and resource issues. This is very much in line with our way of thinking.’
