Vaillant and City of Lincoln Council reach 1000 not out

The City of Lincoln Council has recently installed its thousandth Vaillant ecoTEC pro 28 combination boiler as part of its ongoing commitment to the Decent Homes Programme. Since April 2008, the council has fitted these boilers in a range of properties — including individual homes, terraced houses, flats and tower blocks.

Graeme Twell, gas contracts survey with the council, said, ‘We opted for Vaillant because of their reputation and reliability, which was our top priority. We wanted one universal products to be installed throughout the whole of the city, offering familiarity to engineers and tenants alike. Vaillant’s boilers have proven to be far more reliable than those previously installed from a different manufacturer.’

The council has a portfolio of 8000 properties and is seeking to complete a renewables scheme as part of the Decent Homes Programme by 2010.
