Nottingham building services engineer Skerritt has teamed up with the BAFTA-award-winning ‘Embarrassing bodies’ programme, looking at the way we use our loo.

The company fits more than 5000 toilets every year and was asked by the Channel 4 health show to help demonstrate how our toilet habits could change for the better.

Pictured from left during filming for the show are Skerritt operations director Mark Radford, business development director Peter Saxby and the newly appointed head of property care division, Nigel Parlor.

The trio offered themselves up to test out three methods thought to be better toilet techniques, including adopting a squat position used in many Asian and African countries.

Mark Radford said: ‘It was embarrassing for us but people trust the show for its great medical advice, and this is a serious issue that we wanted to support.

The show, which is now in its third series, will be shown on Channel Four early next year.
