MHS radiators adds authenticity to Luton Hoo refurbishment

MHS Radiators

The refurbishment of Luton Hoo for the Elite Hotels Group includes large numbers of radiators, towel rails and associated equipment from MHS Radiators. The company has supplied 5219 sections of its classic cast-iron Ionic and Burlington radiators, 120 Carat flat-panel radiators, 114 towel rails and 240 sets of valves. MHS also supplied Carat radiators and electric towel rails to The Warren, the stable block and the golf complex.

Luton Hoo was the family seat of the Marquis of Bute and was originally designed and built by neo-classical architect Robert Adam. It is situated in over a thousand acres of lakes and parkland, which were created by Capability Brown.

The 114-bedroom hotel complex has the Grade 1 listed manor house at its centre, and before the restoration, had suffered years of neglect.

MHS radiators offers a range of period and traditional cast-iron radiators, including the classically styled Ionic and the ornate Victorian style Burlington. The company also supplies period-style valves and TRV versions.
