AFI was on the right track at train-care depot

AFI

Powered access machines from AFI played a key role in the installation of Schwank overhead radiant heating in the Brighton Lovers Walk train-care depot. Eight machines were supplied, which, at just under a metre wide, were narrow enough to work safely between the rails of the 11 tracks.

Neil Wood, sales manager with Schwank, explains, ‘The Brighton rail depot has to remain fully operational during our 3-month contract. The versatility of the AFI units allowed us to carry on with the job in hand without impeding the work of depot personnel.’
