BSRIA’s Anne King receives an MBE
MBE in the New Year Honours — Anne King of BSRIA
Anne King, marketing and membership director with BSRIA, was awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours list for services to the construction industry. She has been with BSRIA for 30 years, bringing her economist’s skills to the market-intelligence group. She has also been a leading member of the best-practice programmes and is on the delivery team for the knowledge-transfer network for the modern built environment, working in issues around process improvement, both of the construction process and the management and operation of buildings.
Andrew Eastwell, chief executive of BSRIA, said, ‘It is good to see that non-engineering skills and dedication are rewarded in construction, and it is good to see a woman getting the award.’
