Elta supplies ventilation units for man-made Qatar project

Elta Fans
Elta Fans has supplied ventilation units for the man-made Arabian ‘Riviera’.

Elta Fans has supplied 159 ventilation units for the Pearl-Qatar Riviera-style community off the eastern shore of Qatar. This phased, mixed-use development comprises villas, town houses, apartments, penthouses, hotels, marinas, retail outlets and restaurants. The site is a man-made island covering 40 ha with 40 km of coastline and 20 km of beaches.

The fans were supplied by Elta and sister company Fastline Ventilation equipment to contractor Power Line Engineering of Qatar through regional distributor Metco for use in various public areas. They include several food and beverage outlets in the central plaza and the major north-south boulevard. Also supplied was the smoke-management system for the mall area, where a network of smoke-extract fans is integrated into an addressed fire-alarm system.
