Pegler Yorkshire offers multi-layer crimp-jointed pipework system

Pegler Yorkshire, multi-layer pipe

Pegler Yorkshire now offers a multilayer pipe system that can achieve a bend radius of just three times its outside diameter in sizes from 14 to 26 mm. Henco pipe is made using a layer of butt-welded aluminium with inner and outer layers of high-density polyethylene. The aluminium gives the pipe high temperature and pressure performance and shape-retaining properties. It also provides an oxygen barrier.

Applications include drinking water, heating systems, compressed air, food and medical situations, and various chemicals. The system is rated at 10 bar.

Because it has no thermal memory, Henco pipe can be used in many situations, such as underfloor heating and tight restricted corners under baths and sinks. Its flexibility makes for a reduced number of fittings.

Joints are made using a heat-free crimping system.

There is a wide range of complementary fittings made from injection-moulded polyvinylidene fluoride or plated brass in a wide range of configurations and sizes from 14 to 63 mm. Fittings incorporate a stainless-steel press sleeve and insertion-depth window to ensure the pipe is fully inserted before crimping. Manifolds are also available.

This pipe is available as coils from 14 to 32 m and straight lengths of 3 and 5 m.

Henco pipe has all the standard approvals, including WRAS, and comes with a 30-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.
