25 years of dynamic balancing for Frese
25 years on since Frese launched its first dynamic flow-control valve in 1988, the company reports that over 2.5 million such valves have been installed in heating and cooling systems around the world. Annual production is in excess of 250 000 valves. One of the key benefits of these valves is a 50% reduction in pump energy costs.
The company’s 3rd-generation pressure-independent control valve (PICV) has a patented compacted patented design and achieve precise flow control from 0.008 to 45 l/s in sizes from DN10 to DN150.
Stephen Hart, managing director in the UK, says, ‘There was never a time we didn’t believe in the dynamic flow and temperature control. We have for 25 years been researching, developing, learning and refining our products. Even our second generation valves from 2005 are superior to the “new” products of some competitors.’
