Gas-fired heat-exchange modules from Powrmatic

Powrmatic, unit heater, heat exchange module, space heating

Powrmatic’s HEM-NVx range of gas-fired heat-exchange modules offers seven outputs from 10 to 200 kW. Higher outputs can be achieved using units in tandem or banked configuration. The range has been developed with manufacturers of air-handling units in mind. It has low resistance to airflow and multi-unit capability, making for ease of selection and usage.

These units use similar tube technology to the popular NVx range of gas-fired unit heaters. They can be adapted by OEMs by provision of a slot-in casing arrangement. They can be specified for on/off, high/low or modulating down to 40%.

Burner and controls can be directly mounted onto the heater or encased in a console, which can be weather proofed if required. A multi-start Brahma control unit with ignition and flame control protection ensures long-lived reliability.

Units can be installed within horizontal or vertical air flows and arranged for ‘flue only’ or room sealed.

Their aspect ratios and reduced widths enables them to the used as replacements for hot-water or steam coils in existing AHUs.
