Space Air motor cyclist regains championship lead

Speedway
Motorcyclist Jay Fernandez, sponsored by air-conditioning distributor Space Air, is back in the lead of the 2005 MRO SuperTwins Champions after two tough rounds at Knockhill and Cadwell Place. After trouble with his bike at Knockhill, he was down to second place. Following a controversial to the first race at Cadwell Park, which many riders assumed would be restarted, Jay finished second. In the second race, he also finished second, behind a much faster Powerbike, which enabled him to regain his overall championship lead by a single point. Two rounds remain — at Pembrey and Brands Hatch.
