Thermostatic mixing valve prevents scalding

TMV
Meeting the TMV2 requirements for the full range of bathroom appliances is Honeywell’s TM300 thermostatic mixing valve.
Honeywell has introduced a thermostatic mixing valve that is TMV2 certified for use with the full range of bathroom appliances (showers, washbasins, bidets and bathtubs). It is certified for use with potable water. The TM300 is scale resistant and designed for ‘under-bath’ installation on both high- and low-pressure systems. This valve provides a safe, uniform temperature of 38 to 46°C, as set by the installer. It cuts off the hot water immediately if the cold supply fails. The TM300 has 22 mm compression fittings and flanged connector on all three ports. Check valves are provided on the inlets to prevent cross contamination if there is a difference in supply pressure. A retrofit kit simplifies the replacement of another valve.
