The Mission range of high-wall heat-pump split-system air conditioners from Midea Air Conditioning Group are available in the UK through Powrmatic. Cooling capacities are 2.3 and 3.5 kW. They come with an infra-red remote controller and can also be controlled via Wi-Fi.

The SCOP (seasonal coefficient of performance) is 4.0, and SEER (seasonal energy efficiency ratio) is up to 7.3.

An eco mode reduces energy use by 60% during a standard 8-hour cycle. There is also a sleep mode.

Other features include standard, turbo and silent fan modes, a leak-detection system and self diagnostics using the remote controller. There is also a ‘follow me’ function for close temperature zone control.
