Waterloo supplies air distribution for City University refurb

A major remodelling and refurbishment programme for the Tait building of City University, which houses two departments and a lecture theatre has utilised several ranges of air-terminal products supplied by Waterloo Air Products. Essential requirements for the project were good air flows and aesthetics.
Rick Edmondson, chairman of Waterloo, says, ‘We were delighted to be part of City’s refurbishment. We see many opportunities in the education sector as universities look to refurbish or undertake new builds that work smarter and deliver high quality solutions from materials and optimal performance.
‘Good air distribution is pivotal when it comes to conditioning a space, and correct specification can determine the efficacy of an HVAC system and the comfort of the building’s occupants.’
The grilles are from the company’s standard range of exhaust grilles comprise frames and cores constructed from aluminium extrusions.
The diffusers are part of the standard range of louvred-face diffusers. Constructed from aluminium-alloy extrusions, they can be integrated into various ceiling types.
