Car-park control system indicates free spaces

Not only can Carlo Gavazzi’s Car Park Guidance solution help car drivers find a parking space in multi-storey car parks, but it can also control lighting and ventilation. Applications include hospitals shopping centres, leisure facilities and hotels.

Each parking bay is fitted with an ultrasonic sensor to detect if the space is available, thereby providing precise information about the number of available parking spaces and disabled bays, as well as reserved spaces. Displays use directional arrows and digits to guide drivers.

The system is easily installed using a 3-wire Dupline bus and is simple to configure.

Other functions that can be integrated into a system include monitoring lighting, ventilation, CO2 levels and movement detectors. Seamless integration into the BMS using BACnet is possible, while DALI master or relays for lighting control allow lighting to be dimmed or turned off, while the use of I/O modules for ventilation fans can significantly reduce costs.

Access is from any PC for real-time monitoring, control and statistics.
