Nanolink

The Nanolink equipment tracking system is now available in the UK. Already popular in Denmark and Scandinavia, the system consists of small chips or tags attached to equipment which can then be tracked via a smartphone app (iOS and Android) or a desktop computer.

The software is designed to save both time and money locating mobile equipment. Rather than needing to write an equipment list, a mobile app makes information accessible by anyone who needs it. Once a chip is attached, the users of the equipment don’t have to do any more; the system is always on.

Users have complete control and oversight of all their important tools and assets, pinpointing where everything is at a given time. This means a colleague can locate who is using a tool, even on a large project site. Or your operative can quickly check that they have put all the tools back in the van at the end of a job.

The ability to track tools and equipment is becoming more important to many business, small and large, with the growing rate of thefts from vans. Nanolink says that the system can be set up and fully operational in just one day, providing a digital solution for large and small businesses alike.

Nanolink has capabilities that address a number of equipment challenges for construction and FM companies, including for static equipment. For example, the Nanolink system can send automated reminder emails when equipment is due for service or calibration. It can also be used as a cost-effective way to track a company vehicle in real-time.
