The concept comprises thermal insulation wrapped around a carrier pipe and covered by a double-skinned closed-chamber jacket. It can be used to distribute water for heating and cooling and for hot- and cold-water services.
Carrier-pipe sizes range from 25 to 110 mm, and it is available as a single, twin or quadruple system.
Microflex is supplied in 100 m coils or cut to customer requirements.
It is normally installed in the ground, but can be used above ground if correctly supported. It is maintenance free. Tests indicate a life of more than 50 years.
