Intumescent fire sleeves for ventilation penetrations

Fire protection for ceilings penetrated by small ducts and fans is provided by intumescent fire sleeves from Tenmat.

Tenmat has developed an intumescent fire sleeve for all popular ceiling fans and ventilation ducts. These simple sleeves fit round the fan or vent spigot and are then pushed into the ceiling. These sleeves have been tested in 30-minute and 60-minute ceiling constructions to BS 476 Part 21 and have achieved in excess of their standard design protection.
