Nearly 300 Classic Column radiators have been supplied by Bisque Commercial as part of a £40 million refurbishment project at the new Hendon Campus at Middlesex University. They were specified by consulting engineers WSP Group and installed by EMCOR Engineering Services based in Hatfield. The refurbishment is the second of two major alterations at the university and will see the main quadrangle transformed and covered by a state-of-the art roof to provide a spacious venue for performance events, meeting and socialising. Nigel Coston, technical director for Bisque Commercial, says, ‘The robust output and high output of the Classic Column radiator makes it particular suitable for projects such as schools, offices and public buildings. They come with a number of special options and are available in five different widths and heights from 190 to 3000. They are also available in a curved or angled shape to suit any architectural application.’
