Heating performance raised to a higher level

powrmatic
Henry approves — Powrmatic unit heaters and Calecon economisers have improved heating performance in a Numatic factory and component store.
Powrmatic gas-fired unit heaters and destratification units have transformed the heating performance and reduced energy costs in two buildings of Numatic International, which makes commercial and industrial cleaning and maintenance equipment. These heaters from the NV range have been installed in two phases over the last year. The first installation was in a new 5100 m2 factory and comprised four NV 120 heaters and 16 Calecon heat-recovery units. The second project was part of a refurbishment of a component store at the headquarters complex at Chard. Four NV120 heaters replaced oil-fired heaters on the floor, creating valuable extra storage space. The Calecon units reduce energy costs by preventing heated air accumulating at high level by blowing it back down to operational areas. These heaters have an output of 120 kW and have a tubular heat exchanger, automatic ignition and in-shot gas burners. Their combustion efficiency of 92% qualifies them for Enhanced Capital Allowances.
