Rinnai extends its range of continuous-flow water heaters

With a hot-water output of 15 l/min, Rinnai’s Infinity 16i continuous-flow water heater is designed for light-commercial and domestic applications.

Rinnai has extended its Infinity range of continuous-flow gas-fired water heaters with a model to meet the needs of domestic and light-commercial premises. The Infinity 16i can deliver 15 l/min of hot water from a unit weighing 18 kg and less than 680 mm high. Applications include cafés, pubs, restaurants, offices, shops, hairdressers and small industrial units. Water temperatures can be pre-set using built-in digital controls, avoiding the risk of scalding and eliminating the need for thermostatic mixing valves. The gas input of 35 kW can usually be supplied by a normal domestic gas meter, and water is drawn directly from the mains. These water heaters do not have to be installed on an external wall. Flue kits include vertical and horizontal terminals and extensions that enable them to be up to 6 m from an outside wall.
