Grundfos continues along its growth path

Grundfos Group has reported increased turnover and profit for the fifth year in succession. The results for 2006 show a 15% increase in sales, with 2% coming from acquired companies and 13% from organic growth — compared with 7% in the previous year. These figures are said to reflect an important increase in market share. A notable growth area has been increasing sales of energy-efficient, A-labelled circulator pumps. In 2007, the group plans to make its largest investment ever as part of its long-term strategy. It will include a significant investment in research and development at development centres in Hungary, India, China, Finland and the USA — as well as in the bespoke business development centre in Denmark. New factories will be opened in Hungary and Mexico during the year.
