On his way to sixth place in the Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Championship — Space Air-sponsored Lee Jackson.
Krystal Racing motorcycle racer Lee Jackson, who is sponsored by Space Air, overcame a chipped ankle bone and dislocated thumb from a smash at the Bol d’Or in September to end the Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Champions season in sixth place. He finished the season at Brands Hatch with two top-10 finishes to notch up 111 points for the season. Neil Afram, Space Air’s managing director, commented, ‘Despite the team having a tough year, as principal sponsor we have been pleased that so many of our customers have been able to enjoy some exciting racing at various circuits around the country. I would like to thank team manager Tony Astle and all at Krystal Racing Space Air for their commitment throughout the year and congratulate Lee Jackson on a creditable finish in the championship.’
